Project Overview
This 1-minute promotional video for a Nigerian client features five principal African talents traveling from Nigeria and additional Canadian-based talents to be locally cast. The shoot will take place over 3 days across multiple outdoor locations in Alberta, Canada, including Banff Avenue, Bow River, and other nature and urban backdrops.
The concept follows a documentary-style approach, highlighting real people and authentic interactions. A full draft script—including visuals and voiceover narration—has been provided by the client and must be followed exactly as instructed.
Scene-by-Scene Breakdown & Requirements
-Scene 1
Visual: Sweeping shots of Alberta’s landscape. Young African men and women in traditional attire sing and dance a native African song of hope.\ Voiceover:
“The call has sounded across the motherland. The time has come for Africa's youth to embark on a heroic quest – to revive our cultural heritage and pride.”
Locations:
• Banff Avenue

Casting:
• Provided by Client: 5 Nigerian actors
• To be Cast Locally:
• 2 young African children
• 2 African women (as mothers)

Visual:
1. Talents step off a boat onto Alberta shores
2. Journey through jungle and grasslands
3. Exit from a Range Rover
Voiceover:
1 “Now, Africa's youth have returned here to begin their quest to recover our stolen heritage and reclaim our pride.”

• Alberta Lakeshore with sand beach (if there is any, alternatively we are open for suggestions)
• Shackles and chains half-buried in sand
Voiceover:
“On this land where so many bonds were broken, our heroes are piecing together the past. Bridging a divided history to uncover the roots of Alberta, Canada culture.”

Local Production Service.
We are seeking for the local production service based either in Alberta or closeby city that can secure all the location, permits, crew, casting, equipment as well as all the production services and transporation we listed above.
Visa Letters
The local production service should be entitled and able to issue the letter of invitation for the Nigerian crew of around 7 people.
